Richmond Office Opening!

RICHMOND’S NEW COWORKING HUB

The Network Hub opens its first Richmond location

Richmond, B.C., February 22, 2017 – The Network Hub, B.C.’s pioneering and longest running coworking collective, officially open its first Richmond location in the city’s riverfront district at 2030-10013 River Drive. Two Open Houses are scheduled for February 23 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and February 25 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The brand new 1,700 square foot space aims to attract start-ups, small businesses, independent consultants, and more.

“The city of Richmond is definitely a leading centre for business growth and development, particularly in the high-tech industry,” explains Jay Catalan, co-founder of The Network Hub. “It is also fairly new to the coworking concept, and therefore, a great time to launch in one of its newest communities this fall. The Parc Riviera location is accessible, beautiful, and close to all the major Richmond hubs. A few current members are already seeking space out of the new office.”

The Network Hub Richmond, designed by local interior design company H&M Design and Build, not only features an open area workspace and lounge, but also four private offices, and a rentable board room that can be converted into a larger event space for up to 20 people. Prospective members have an array of options to choose from depending on their different working styles. The Network Hub Richmond also provides a virtual office, mailbox rental, and mail forwarding.

“A major employment center for the region, Richmond has the world-class amenities and services that continue to attract top businesses and talent in technology and other sectors,” says City of Richmond Economic Development Manager, Neonila Lilova. “Through their new coworking space, The Network Hub will contribute to the supportive business environment that entrepreneurs rely on to start and grow their business in our community.”

We are passionate believers of the benefits of coworking, especially the tight knit community it can create,” adds Cindy Liu and Hilbert Ng, previous coworking clients and founders of The Network Hub Richmond. “When researching coworking spaces before, the closest office at the time was about 30 minutes away. Travel is normally the biggest obstacle for anyone who is considering coworking. Since Richmond is one of British Columbia’s fastest growing cities, and a vibrant hub for business, it is a natural choice to open The Network Hub in Richmond.”

As with all The Network Hub locations, members have access to a global network of coworking spaces for up to three days via the Coworking Visa Map, curated by The Network Hub.

The Network Hub launched in Vancouver in May of 2006 and now has the largest number of accessible locations across the province with sites in Gastown, New Westminster, Whistler, Nanaimo, and now Richmond.
